Washington, D.C. — The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) today closed two thrifts in Florida and one in Michigan, and appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as receiver.

The institution began operating in 1927 as a mutual savings and loan association called First Federal Savings And Loan Association of Hendry County.
